We went up to the lake house last weekend so Greg could do some brush cutting. Brooklyn and I tried to help, but really we were just good company while Greg did all the hard work. He did an amazing job and the path down to the lake looks so good!

Brooklyn has been working hard on sitting up recently. One day she can barely sit for a couple seconds and the next she is sitting and playing with toys for 10 to 15 minutes! It's crazy how fast she is changing lately! She's almost 6 months and then comes a year! Ahhhh! Where does the time go? Soon she'll be going off to college. OK, breathe! She's still a baby right now!

Here are some super cute pictures of Brooklyn sleeping, sitting up and just hanging out this past week! Enjoy!

Happy 5-month Birthday!

We've had Brooklyn with us for 5 months today! Hard to believe! We had a great day playing and had lunch with Greg to celebrate! Brooklyn has begun talking A LOT lately. Strangely, she growls when she "talks" to me and says "dada dada" when she talks to Greg! We've been having lots of fun with her lately. We even took her swimming (indoors) last night. She was a little hesitant at first, but in a couple minutes she was "talking" and smiling!

This picture was taken today with Brooklyn sitting on her own! She's so surprised! I was in the middle of changing her and she looked too cute!

This is a collage from our New Years celebration. Brooklyn and I took a nap until 11 and then Greg picked us up and took us to Shaun and Desiree's. She did great and stayed up until 2am! Look at her cute bear hat! It's a 6-12 month hat because she has tons of brains in that pretty head!

Not too cute here, but I wanted to get a picture with her Princeton shirt on! Thanks, Uncle A.J.!

Brooklyn said that she wanted to start getting the mail for us so we lowered it to her height. OK, what really happened was that the recycling truck hit the mailbox and knocked it down. Greg thought it was funny to put the remainder in the ground. The mailman also thought it was hilarious! He said it made his day to see it!
