The Sanfilippo family has already returned to St. Louis. We had a great time (even though it always seems too short) and we miss them already. We had many things planned, and were able to do most of them even with the abnormally rainy/chilly weather this weekend.
On Friday we went to Six Flags over Texas. It was pretty humid, but I think the rain helped keep most people away. We were able to get on all the rides without a wait! Here is the family at the entrance of the park.
Here are my brothers and Dad on a teacup-like ride that they could spin as fast as they wanted. I went with them on a similar ride. They spun the ride so fast I couldn't keep my head up! It was really funny, but my head was still spinning as we were getting off the ride!
This is at our house on Saturday before the boys and I went to the lake. Greg took our nephew, Sammy, on the trampoline. I wish this picture would have come out better. He kept cracking up as they were jumping and his hair looks so funny in this picture!
This is my picture with Sammy! He was actually looking at the camera! So cute!
On Sunday, we went to Van Alstyne to visit my brother A.J.'s college friends. Here are the boys playing pool volleyball...and a view from their house.
It was so pretty and peaceful out there. I was half considering how nice it would be to live out there...until I saw this...Yeah, that's a tarantula!!! No thanks! That quickly ended any thoughts of country living!
So that's a little bit of the fun we had this weekend. It was great to see the family for the weekend and we can't wait to see them again soon!

Looks like SO much fun!!!
As for the tarantula....EWWWWW. Is all I have to say about that.
Wicked was AwEsOme!!!! How fun that your high school put it on. It is seriously one of THE best shows I've ever seen. I highly recommend going!!! So I hope it comes to Dallas for you! I would go again in a second!!!
I love Sammy's big chubby cheeks and his great blue eyes! So fun to have family in town. And I don't do tarantulas either... so sorry you even had to see that.
I might have to rethink moving to Texas after seeing that tarantula! Spending time with family is so much fun. We were in Dallas last week and were bummed about all the rain. Oh well--still had a blast!
